Well today Amanda and I walked with the brownie troop in the Thanks and Giving Walk for St. Jude’s. What a wonderful feeling it was. There were teams for different kids in the Syracuse area that had gone to St. Jude’s. Some of the kids were there some passed on and lost their battle to cancer. I see alot of my friends who have had cancer or are still battling cancer and let me tell you seeing the parents of the kids and the kids themselves that are battling the beast is hard. I think of Anna who was seven and my little radiation buddy while I was going thru treatments. Life is difficult and there sure are some tough times. St. Jude’s expected this area to bring in $10,000.00 but in the end we brought in $29,000.00. Again the generosity of people is truly amazing.
